Back on the Izzies!

Artistic Director Sue Li Jue is back on the Isadora Duncan Dance Award Committee for the 2010-2011 viewing cycle. She will also be working on the Izzies 25th Anniversary this coming March 2011 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Forum.

Don't miss the premiere of, "Through Another Lens" at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater this August. This dynamic solo was created for dancer Nhan Ho with a sound score mixed by Ryan Drury. Summer Modern Dance with Sue Li Jue

Come join us in this new class taught by Sue Li Jue!
With LIVE music by Ben Juodvalkis, this intermediate modern dance class will leave you happy and sweaty. Come and work on performance skills using the vehicles of breath, weight and momentum--oh, and technique. The atmosphere is friendly and non-competitive, supportive and lively. What more could you ask?

Sue Li Jue awarded CASH Grant for 2007!

Great news! After taking a break in 2006 from the never ending cycle of grant writing , Artistic Director Sue Li Jue was recently awarded a CASH grant for the creation of a new work for Side By Side in November 2007 (see calendar). Ms. Li Jue was one of six recipients in her category. CASH is a grant program of Theater Bay Area, in partnership with Dancers Group.
